Half-Nekkid Thursday #22 (And The Hits Just Keep On Comin' Edition)

It has been a shitty week...starting with getting rear-ended on Sunday (and I DON'T mean in a good way!). Probably at least $3000 in damage to my car which means it's likely a writeoff as they won't give me that much for a car for which I paid $2350 four years ago. Which further means I will have to figure out how to get a new car (or at least one that's new to me) that DOESN'T suck for whatever paltry amount they decide my car is worth...never mind that I put over $1500 into it in new parts in the last few months. Add to that a sore neck and back and the possibility of having to fork out a $500 deductible if the shithead that hit me doesn't have valid Ontario insurance (yeah, did I mention the truck he was driving had IOWA plates?!) and it adds up to just more of the same here in Happy-happy-land. Sorry kids, I really AM trying to look on the bright side but weeks like this make it less than easy. It even takes most of the fun out of the shiny, little red rental number they gave me...although it DOES have a CD player in it, which I love. Upon which I can play this little gem:

Wind It Up

Stop, drop and roll and I will tell you where I'm coming from
You've done a lot of yelling pointed at my eardrum
I'll offer all of me that you can lay your eyes on
I'll get right back to you once I get my disguise on
Hearts on fire, you'll learn
End up with heartburn
Wind me up, my dear
Had it up to here
Wind it up

I can't believe that you'd believe that I would fake it
Wait - unless you count the things I said when we were naked
Run, run away from everything we'd ever hoped for
I can't believe that this is what people elope for
Throw your sticks and stones
Throw your mobile phone
Wind me up, my dear
Had it up to here
Wind it up

If you are leaving then I wish you luck
I hope someone can make your heart warm
I was a baby when I learned to suck
But you have raised it to an art form
Yes I'm out of line
But you're out of your mind
Wind me up, my dear
Had it up to here
Wind me up, my dear
Had it up to here
Wind it up

Now go look at tata's (spelling?) and be happy...I'm gonna indulge in some boobie-therapy myself, see if I can't kick these blues!
Happy HNT!

Half-Nekkid Thursday #21 (Once Upon A Time Edition)

This was taken in August, a couple of weeks before we booked the trip to Mexico that we were supposed to be leaving for on Sunday the 28th...it seems a long time ago and so very far away.
Don't mean to be melancholy, but did I mention I was supposed to be leaving for MEXICO?! And that it's finally freakin' winter here?! See what I'm sayin'?!

Anyway, happy HNT and have fun doing whatever you have to to ward off the winter blues! ;o)

As always, if you're new to the half-nekkidness, click the link below to visit Osbasso to get details on how you can join in the fun!

And here's a song...just 'cause I really like it:

Into The Ocean

I'm just a normal boy

That sank when I fell overboard

My ship would leave the country

But I'd rather swim ashore

Without a life that's sadly stuck again

Wish I was much more masculine

Maybe then I could learn to swim

Like 'fourteen miles away'

You're floating up and down

I spin, colliding into sound

Like whales beneath me diving down

I'm sinking to the bottom of my

Everything that freaks me out

The lighthouse beam has just run out

I'm cold as cold as cold can be be

I want to swim away but don't know how

Sometimes it feels just like I'm falling in the ocean

Let the waves up take me down

Let the hurricane set in motion

Let the rain of what I feel right now...come down

Let the rain come down

Where is the coastguard I keep looking each direction

For a spotlight, give me something

I need something for protection

Maybe flotsam junk will do just fine

The jets, I'm sunk, I'm left behind

I'm treading for my life believe me

(How can I keep up this breathing)

Not knowing how to think I scream aloud, begin to sink

My legs and arms are broken down

With envy for the solid ground

I'm reaching for the life within me

How can one man stop his ending

I thought of just your face

Relaxed, and floated into space

I want to swim away but don't know how

Sometimes it feels just like I'm falling in the ocean

Let the waves up take me down

Let the hurricane set in motion

Let the rain of what I feel right now...come down

Let the rain come down

Let the rain come down

Now waking to the sun

I calculate what I had done

Like jumping from the bow (yeah)

Just to prove I knew how (yeah)

It's midnight's late reminder of

The loss of her, the one I love

My will to quickly end it all

So thought no end my need to fall

Into the ocean, end it all

Into the ocean, end it all

Into the ocean, end it all into the ocean...end it all

[Zayra]Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

I want to swim away but don't know how

Sometimes it feels just like I'm falling in the ocean

Let the waves up take me down

Let the hurricane set in motion (yeah)

Let the rain of what I feel right now...come down

Let the rain come down

Let the rain come down

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

(In to space)

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

(I thought of just your face)

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

Into the ocean (goodbye) end it all (goodbye)

Half-Nekkid Thursday #20 (Snug As A Bug Edition)

And now, back to our regularly scheduled half-nekkidness...
This is actually an old pic and for the life of me, I can't remember now why I chose not to use this one before but since I haven't had the opportunity to get any more taken recently, here you go! And look...it's actually HALF-nekkid! ;o)

HHNT all!

P.S. If you're new to this HNT business, click here to visit Os and find out the ins and outs, as it were! ;o)

A Sad Day...

After visiting Osbasso to post the usual "I'm up" message for Half-Nekkid Thursday, I was saddened to read of the apparent passing of a regular member of the HNT community, Betchacantguesswho. We weren't close but I'm sure I popped by her site and I know she came by here a couple times to check things out...so out of respect, I have taken down this weeks pic and will resume next week or whenever the Os-man decides it's okay again. My condolences to those of you out in Bloggerland who were close to her and please visit here to get what details are available...

Half-Nekkid Thursday #19 (Cleaning Up My Act Edition)

Or was it my @ss? ;o)
(Gratuitous movie quote: "Never let 'em see you ache...or was it ass? Never let 'em see your ass..." Great movie...brownie points if anyone knows it without looking it up!)
Seriously though, doesn't everybody look sexier when they're wet? It seems to me that they DO...this pic certainly makes me FEEL sexy and right now, that's a great thing!
So, I think that for the moment, I have found my candidate for 2007's Fav HNT of the Year post...that being said, let's hope there's all sorts of better ones (or at least as good!) to pick from in the coming months!

Happy Half-Nekkid Thursday all!
